Party of Sheep or Goats

When it comes to the nation’s healthcare debate – which party are ye?
Democratic Party – “Sheep”
When I was hungry you feed me – with school lunches, meals on wheels, food stamps
When I was thirsty you gave me drink – water, juices, and sugar free drinks
When I was sick you visited me – with health care, Medicare, ACA
When I was in prison you visited me – in case reviews, pardons and mandatory sentence reforms
Question: “When did we do these things unto you?” Answer: “When ye have done it unto one of these least Americans, ye have done it unto me (Lord).”
Republican Party – “Goats”
When I was hungry you didn’t feed me – took away school lunches, meals on wheels, food stamps
When I was thirsty you didn’t give me drink – water, juices, Hurricane Katrina
When I was sick you did not visit me but took away – health care, Medicare, ACA
When I was in prison you didn’t visited me – but extended sentences, threw out appeals, overturned reforms
Question: “When did we not do these things unto you?” Answer: “When ye have not done it unto one of these least Americans, ye have not done it unto me (Lord).”
Today we are faced with actions of two political parties. The Lord shall judge “both, the sheep and the goats,” Matthew 25:30-48.
